Despite the fragile look of its flowers, this is one tough plant that survives all sorts of abuse bestowed on it by the carless gardener… looking in the mirror right now. The tuberous root is the powerhouse that keeps the wheels turning and can be exposed (if you're into that) or left in the soil. Flowers at random times throughout the year are always a treat.
