(Seed Grown)
Forest Lily is considered a semi-deciduous winter-growing bulb. If allowed to go dormant during the summer months (i.e., Not water), it will flush out again in the fall and push those lush, shiny leaves. To keep it evergreen (mild climates), it can be irrigated in a garden, but be mindful of rotting it in heavy soils. The flowers form in late winter to Spring, adding some POW to the shade garden.

I purchased two Veltheimia bracteata from Troy and they are beautiful, healthy plants. Will definitely buy from WM again!
